Migrant Education Region IV

Continuous Learning Packets (CLPs)

What are CLPs?

Continuous Learning Packets (CLPs) are grade specific educational packets that are distributed to migrant students during the summer months as a way to continue students studies if they are unable to attend summer school.

  • District staff participate in the selection of the contents of the educational packets
  • The packets include reading, language and math activities that are aligned with the California Contents Standards
  • Over 12,000 packets are distributed to migrant students in the school districts in Region IV
